Development Director

Part-Time Schedule:

This role aligns with school hours and CISD holidays.  The schedule includes 20 hours weekly with at least three days on campus (8:30 am - 2:00 pm) as well as additional time for off-hours digital communication, event set up, attendance, and take down.

Trinity Episcopal Day School (TEDS) is an accredited pre-school in The Woodlands, Texas. Our events are where families meet each other, where children feel celebrated, and where our school builds community.  We are looking for someone who can help us with this mission!  The TEDS Development Director is responsible for managing all school events, parent volunteers, and directing fundraising efforts to sustain our programs and benefit our students.  Our team driven culture will support your success.

Qualifications:

●  Strong organizational and planning skills

●  Adept in time management: maintaining multiple event schedules and meeting deadlines

●  Ability to lead yet also delegate tasks to volunteers

●  Proficiency with Google Workspace Applications and Canva

●  College degree preferred as well as experienced PTA volunteers and event professionals Key

 

Responsibilities:

●  Act as point person for all school-wide events

●  Serve as the annual Gala Chair

●  Recruit volunteers when needed and communicate event details to volunteer team and teachers

●  Procurement of materials and vendors for events

●  Publish information about the events both internally and externally using varying communication formats

●  Schedule class attendance at events

●  Communicate and document:

-Complete event summary on Google Doc

-Post on Procare about events

●  Work as homeroom parent coordinator to keep homeroom parents informed

●  Members of our team attend weekly administration meetings and monthly staff meetings
